Silambarasan AKA Simbu who has played a small role in the 2013 film Kanna Lattu Thinna Aasaiya, where he played the hero. For this, he acted without charging a fee. Also, Simbu, who sang the second single of Varisu titled ‘Thee Thalapathy’ and also lent his voice to the film, has not charged anything. Yes, no remuneration at all.
Suriya’s 5-minute cameo in Kamal Haasan starrer Vikram was one of the main highlights of the movie. But when it comes to remuneration did you know that the actor performed for free without charging a penny for the role? Also, Suriya has played a key cameo in Madhavan’s Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, without charging a penny for it.
Thalapathy Vijay will be reportedly playing a cameo role in Jawan, which is being directed by Atlee Kumar. Thalapathy Vijay, who is a close friend of the director Atlee and Shah Rukh Khan as well, looks like he won’t be charging anything either.
Ajith Kumar was a huge Sridevi fan and when he was approached to play a cameo in English Vinglish, he happily agreed without charging a fee. Ajith later collaborated with Sridevi’s husband and producer Boney Kapoor for three Tamil films.

One such film is an upcoming Siva Karthikeyan film in which Dhanush will dance with Sivakarthikeyan only in a song sequence. He did a dance number for free.
