This action romantic movie directed by Siddique is the third remake of the director’s own 2010 Malayalam flick of the same name. The movie stars Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. It is a remake of the Telugu film Arjun Reddy (2017) that launched Vijay Devarakonda as a bona fide hero across the country. Wanted is a 2009 Indian action film directed by Prabhu Deva and starring Salman Khan, Ayesha Takia, and Prakash Raj. Wanted is a remake of the Telugu blockbuster movie Pokiri directed by Puri Jagannath. Before directing the Hindi version, Prabhu Deva remade the movie in Tamil with Vijay and Asin. The film follows a fearless and skilled hitman who is hired by a crime lord to eliminate his rivals. However, the hitman’s life takes a turn when he falls in love with a woman and decides to leave his criminal life behind. The movie became a commercial success, grossing around ₹93 cr.

Telugu film Temper starring Prakash Raj, NTR Jr and Kajal Aggarwal smashed box office records in 2015, which inspired Rohit Shetty to remake it into Simmba. The film follows a corrupt police officer who transforms into a righteous one after a life-changing event. He then sets out to take down a notorious criminal and his empire. Simmba’s worldwide box office collection is ₹400 Cr.
Ajay Devgn’s super hit ‘Drishyam Series’ was a remake of South’s successful film ‘Drishyam’. Everyone knows how amazing this film proved to be at the box office. Now Ajay Devgan has once again brought Bholaa, which is an official remake of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s 2019 Tamil superhit film ‘Kaithi’. The film stars Tabu, Amala Paul, Sanjay Mishra, Makarand Deshpande, and Deepak Dobriyal in the lead roles. Bholaa has so far collected a gross of 115 crores worldwide.
