1. Vetrimaaran

Vetrimaaran started his directorial debut in 2007 via ‘Polladhavan’. Since then, this director has given hit movies such as Adukalam, Visaranai, Vada Chennai, and Asuran. Four out of his total five movies had actor Dhanush in the lead.
2. Rajkumar Hirani

The 3 Idiots director is the most favorable film director in India. He made a Hindi film debut in 2003 with Munna Bhai MBBS and after that, Hirani has never looked back. Every single movie directed by Hirani becomes bigger than the last one. The master of mainstream cinema.
3. S.S. Rajamouli

Rajamouli ventured into films by directing the Telugu film Student No.1 in 2001, starring Jr. NTR, Gajala, and Rajeev Kanakala. S.S. Rajamouli has the 100% Success Ratio with all Blockbuster Hits. Baahubali make Rajamouli famous nationwide and with RRR he became internationally famous. In 2016, he was respected with the Padma Shri.
4. S. Shankar

Shankar is an Indian film director and producer who works mainly in Tamil cinema. He made his debut in Gentleman (1993). Starting his career in 1993 with Tamil Cinema, Shankar rose to fame with his back-to-back superhit films in the first and second decades of the 21st century.

8. Karan Johar

Karan Johar entered the industry as an assistant director of ‘Dil Wale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’ and later made his debut in 1998 with ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ which was a massive blockbuster. He followed that up with another blockbuster in the form of Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham. Since K3G, Karan has never delivered any commercial failure at the box office.
9. Atlee Kumar

Atlee made his movie debut via ‘Raja Rani’ which had Arya, Nayanthara, Jai and Nazriya in the lead. Following its success, the director gave three superhit movies – Theri, Mersal, and Bigil – with Thalapathy Vijay in the lead.
10. Lokesh Kanagaraj

He started his career with a short film in the 2016 anthology Aviyal. He later directed his first feature film Maanagaram (2017). The Lokesh Cinematic Universe consists of the critically and commercially successful movies Kaithi (2019) and Vikram (2022). His upcoming film ‘Leo’ marks his second collaboration with Vijay after Master (2021).

Koratala Siva is an Indian film director and screenplay writer who works in the Telugu film industry. He made his debut as a screenplay writer and dialogue writer for the film Bhadra (2005) and made his directorial debut with the film Mirchi (2013). In 2015, he directed ‘Srimanthudu’ and became the second highest-grossing Telugu film at the time. Koratala has never delivered any commercial failure at the box office.
13. Neeraj Pandey

Neeraj Pandey is an acclaimed Indian director. The director started off his career with A Wednesday which proved to be a surprise hit and followed it up with Special 26 which again did the trick with the audiences.
14. Prashanth Neel

Ugramm was a decent outing for Prashanth Neel. Then came KGF, which took the entire India by storm. Seems like he is not going to stop any soon. He is going to deliver blockbusters like SS Rajamouli.
15. Ali Zafar Khan

Ali started his career as a director with the romantic comedy ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ in 2011. His first two films may not be able to be to such a big hit in the industry. But, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and Gunday did manage to get commercial success at the box office.
16. H. Vinoth

H. Vinoth is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and story writer who predominantly works in the Tamil film industry. Who made his directorial debut with Sathuranga Vettai (2014) next venture Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru with actor Karthi was the biggest blockbuster of that year. Soon after his initial two blockbuster films, he teamed up with Kollywood’s top star, Ajith Kumar, for three consecutive films. This collaboration helped him establish himself as a remarkable filmmaker and brought him critical praise and widespread recognition.

17. Vamshi Paidipally

He made his directorial debut with Prabhas-starrer Munna (2007). It was an average venture at the box office. He later directed Brindavanam starring NTR Jr which was a commercial success. Since 2007 Vamsi has not delivered a single flop.
18. Anil Ravipudi

He made his directorial debut with the action comedy Pataas (2015). He made six movies so far, and every movie of his made money at the box office.
19. Sandeep Reddy Vanga
